Summer Silliness

This summer, we have been on the go! In this first picture, James has a big boy haircut, which makes him look about five years old.

Here, grandpa Gobczynski smuggled donuts into the kids, who of course, loved them!

These are pictures of the kids cheesing around during lunch. Elmo helped James finish his pizza.

James really enjoyed watching the fireworks this year, and he especially enjoyed sitting on dad's lap.

When we went to Kansas City to visit Renee and Jeremy, we went to the train restaurant. James was a bit skeptical about his hat, while Kate loved sitting next to dad like a big girl.

Kate's First Dentist Appointment

Last week, Kate had her first experience at the dentist's office. Fortunately for us, and her, one of our good friends is a dentist. She also happens to have a daughter who is Kate's age, and she is fantastic with kids. Alli took Kate back to the exam room, and Kate couldn't have done better. She sat up in the chair and listened to Alli's instructions and explanations like a champ. Kate had no cavities and minimal plaque, so we were happy and I was so proud of her! Kate really did a great job, and we can't thank Dr. Schumacher enough!
