Kate's 2nd Birthday Video

Happy 2nd Birthday, Kate!

Yesterday was Kate's 2nd birthday. She got to celebrate with a big John Deere party down at Grandma and Grandpa Uebinger's farm. She was able to take a trip around the farm in a tractor, hunt eggs, play with her cousins, and ride in her new purple barrel that grandpa made for her. Uncle Ryan and Aunt Julie, Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Renee, and Uncle John and Aunt Emily came to the party, and even great aunts and uncles showed up to help us celebrate. Greg's own godparents were able to tell Kate happy birthday. Thanks to Grandma Terri and Papa Art; you helped us throw a wonderful party! It was a great day!

Happy Easter, Everyone!

We have had a pretty busy couple of weeks around here. Last Tuesday, Greg took Kate to the Easter party that St. Anthony holds for the children of employees. James was a little too small to go and enjoy the party this year, so this was just Dad and Kate time. When she woke up on Tuesday morning, Greg told Kate she was going to a party that evening. Immediately, she said, "Shoes? Dress?"That's my girl! She wasn't scared of the Easter Bunny this year, which is a marked change from last year. She is getting to be such a little lady!

On Sunday, we got the kids dressed up and we celebrated with both sides of the family. We went to the Gobczynski side for lunch and an impromptu 2nd birthday party for Kate. My parents and brother will not be able to celebrate with us during her big bash, so we decided a mini Minnie Mouse party was the way to go. Later, Greg's parents came over to help baby-sit the kids and have dinner with us. It was a great holiday weekend, and we had fun spending it with our families.
