Summer Pictures

I have just now gotten around to uploading some iPad photos from this summer. Some are funny, some are cute, and some are from photobooth, an app that lets us do some crazy things to our photos. We were only brave enough to try out some of the photos, so enjoy!

The End of Summer Vacation

Last week was our last week of summer vacation. It was a great summer with the kids, and Greg and I were able to take them lots of places over the last three months. We have gone to Scoville Zoo and the Children's Museum of Decatur, taken multiple trips to the Helen Mathis Library, and visited the donut shop a couple of times with grandma and grandpa. We were also able to spend several days a week at the club's pool, and we even made a trip to the bowling alley! I had an awesome summer, and, while I don't want it to end, I am ready to get back to my classroom and students. After all, my students won't write those ten-page research papers on their own! These pictures are of the last several days that we were able to be at home together, and the kids look like they had as much fun this summer as we did.

Bug Jammies

These first few pictures are of James, taken about a week after we brought him home from the hospital. I fell in love with these jammies, which I found shortly after learning James would be a boy. They totally remind me of Greg, since there are bugs all over them and we all know that Greg is a big science nerd. They quickly became the go-to outfit for James, but he outgrew them so fast, which made me sad.

Fast forward to a couple of months ago, and I found the same jammies at a garage sale, albeit in a much larger size! I was so excited that I had to put them on James the minute I got home. I think he looks just as cute today as he did when he was only a few days old. What a handsome little man!

Here are my two little summer ragamuffins! Jammies like these have been the prevailing outfits for all of us this summer, and I am definitely not complaining. Greg is the only one complaining, when he gets home in the afternoon and finds the three of us still in our jammies. What? It's summertime...
