Wordless Wednesday

Last Day of Summer Vacation

Tomorrow, Katie starts daycare at Raney Street. Greg keeps insisting we call it "school" so he is less traumatized by the idea, but it means summer is over just the same. I start teaching again on Wednesday, and I need to get started on my classroom tomorrow. I figured it would be a little easier to be emotional tomorrow and Tuesday before all the kids come back to school. This way, I have the option of crying in my classroom by myself as I get things prepared, rather than crying in front of teenagers. I hope I can do this with as little pain as possible! And to think, I used to make fun of mothers who I thought cried for no reason.... What was I thinking?!

Pushups

Katie has now perfected the art of pushups. Since she has learned to roll over, she is able to hold herself up on her elbows for a long period of time. We are so proud of these accomplishments and hope they continue. Pretty soon, she will be in better shape than Greg and me!
